Not too long ago a circular route for mountain and e-bikers around the Kaiser mountain range was opened. The well-developed bike route travels over 80 kilometres once around the “Koasa”, as we like to call it. If you book a biking holiday in Sölllandl, this will always be in view on your rides. The mountains around Söll offer variety with differing routes and circuits: From simple tours in the valley to challenging routes up to the highest peaks or to pump trails the Kitzbühler Alps have all that a biker’s heart could wish for. The Hotel AlpenSchlössl with its unique location is the perfect place, if you want to get away from it all: You will be holidaying on a majestic plateau.
Söllandl bike route
This bike route takes you from Söll through Scheffau and Ellmau to Going. On the left hand side you have the wonderful peaks of the Wilden Kaiser and on the right the grassy mountains of the Ski resort Wilder Kaiser. On both sides of the path are distilleries and farms offering you culinary delights from the region. Allow plenty of time for stops!
Pölven bike route
The Hotel AlpenSchlössl is situated directly at the foot of the Großen Pölven, therefore making it an easy place to join the Pöleven bike route. The route takes you once round the large and small Pölven, through Bruckhäusl, Bad Häring and Schwoich back to Söll. This varied route provides short, hard ascents and fast descents.
Bike Saloon
Since spring 2020 Söll is home to the largest technical bike training course in Austria. Two gravel trails for beginners await keen bikers. A tarmac pump track can be used by other vehicles as well as bikes.
Kaiser bike route
E-bikes make it possible! The route is over 80 kilometres long, around the whole Kaiser mountain range, made up of the Wilden and the Zahmen Kaiser. It used to be almost impossible, but with help the help of electric power it is achievable! Those taking on the challenge, once around the “Kaiser” will be rewarded with great variety: From Söll it takes you over the Eibergradweg to the fortress town of Kufstein. From here you travel along the Inn towards Ebbs and Niederndorf. Then the first short mountain stage takes you to Walchsee. Along the banks of the lake it takes you further to Kössen and over Kirchdorf and St. Johann back to the other side of the mountain range. And before you know it you are back in Sölllandl. Through Going, Ellmau and Scheffau we return home to Söll.
