Climbing on the Wilden Kaiser
The impressive Wilden Kaiser mountain range accompanies our guests in Hotel AlpenSchlössl throughout their day. Whether while hiking or walking, skiing or on a sun terrace – always focusing on the jagged rocks of the Wilden Kaiser. Climbers can hang directly within the rocks. Within the Kaiser mountain range routes of varying degrees await you. Climbing gardens and climbing also make the Wilden Kaiser one of the most famous climbing areas in the Alps.
Natural lakes & outdoor pools
Enjoy a swim after a mountain adventure or just swap your walking boots directly for flip flops and treat yourself to a day of idleness at a natural swimming lake. On a lounger in the sun allow your thoughts to wander while you enjoy the peace and quiet and background noise at the lake. There are several natural lakes situated close to the hotel AlpenSchlössl: The Hintersteiner lake is the highest lake in the region. Being a mountain lake it is refreshingly cool even in the summer months. Slightly milder temperatures can be enjoyed at the Ahorn lake in Söll. The bathing area has a beach volley ball court, a children’s area with pool and water features, and a snack kiosk.
Paragliding
Over the past years the Hohe Salve has become a popular starting point for paragliders. The most beautiful views in Tirol are free, therefore paragliders are free to fly off in whichever direction they choose. Paragliders also start from the Hartkaiser and Brandstadl. The houses lay scattered in the valley below surrounded by unspoilt nature! A tandem flight is an experience you will never forget.
